            There is no question the Frente Común Contra el SIDA (Common Front Against AIDS) has become another casualty of the corrupt and repressive state government of Oaxaca.

            This is not a government to be criticized.

            At this point we do not know the future of our organization.  We are working hard to keep this important website alive and offering its life-saving information.

In 1992, a group of artists, actors, teachers, doctors, and concerned individuals decided to form a “common front” against AIDS. Today our organization struggling to survive in the repressive regime that is the state government of Oaxaca.

The official statistics of the Secretary of Health are incomplete, misleading and confusing.  We at the Frente Común offer an analysis of these data and try to interpret the situation of AIDS in Oaxaca as it really is.
